My 1st Time Childcare Center exists to provide a safe, warm and nurturing developmentally appropriate environment for infant and preschool age children. Our focus is to provide stimulating early care and creative education experiences to promote each child's development. Our goal is to support children's desire to be life-long achievers. By doing so, we at My 1st Time believe that children should learn by exploring the many celebrations of life and the changes they bring. Achieving the goal of individual growth in early learners is one that takes time, patience and understanding and is also one that never ends. In guiding us to do so we offer a supportive learning environment that is created through the interaction of the indoor and outdoor physical environment, instructional materials, furnishings, interpersonal relationships (adults with children, adults with adults and children with children) and daily routines. It is within this environment that a child’s optimal development takes place. Each child’s development in the four domains – Social, Emotional, Cognitive and Physical – is being supported, sustained, extended and enhanced primarily through activities which promote purposeful play.
My 1st Time Childcare Center is a family-oriented center that has been privileged to be employed with loyal, caring and attentive staff members
which whom we appreciate dearly. We provide a service that not only takes care of children but gives them the early fundamentals of life through our educational program. We strive for excellence and through all our hard work, continue to receive an abundance of wonderful
children, parents and families.
If you provide a child with the necessary tools to promote healthy play, social skills, independence and self-regulation, the foundation of early learning is developed. At My 1st Time Childcare Center we not only provide these tools, but we stand by the experiences they help to create. We believe in a program that implements quality reinforcement of various learning standards. We foster confidence and nurture growth through the instruction and delivery of a developmentally appropriate curriculum that focuses on the individual child. By exercising the four domains of development and allowing the children to freely express themselves in their daily interactions and at their own pace, relationships are created, and trust is established.
